Match Preview :
Tottenham goes into this match currently bottom of the Premiership and they know that they have never suffered three defeats in a row in the Premiership so far.
But they will take on a Wolves side who are still unbeaten to date. Mick McCarthy's men started their campaign with back-to-back wins over Blackburn and Fulham, before holding Midlands rivals Aston Villa to a goalless draw before the International break.
At the moment Wolves find themselves tied on points with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool on 7 points and it seems to be so much better then last season when they were battling against relegation.
McCarthy will want to continue their good recent record against Spurs, having drawn 3-3 with Harry Redknapp's side in the corresponding fixture last term and completed a league double over the North Londoners the season before.
And that means that for the fourth Premier League match in succession if winger Matt Jarvis can prove his fitness. McCarthy will assess Jarvis in training but is confident the former Gillingham midfielder will recover following a minor ankle injury.
The seven players who went away on international duty have returned without any injuries, leaving Wolves missing only Dave Edwards (calf) and Sylvain Ebanks-Blake (knee). And further good news for McCarthy is that Midfielder Adlene Guedioura is available after recovering from the ankle injury that has troubled him from playing so far this season.
Tottenham have had a difficult start having seen their opening match with Everton postponed due to the London riots and then suffering back to back defeats to both Manchester sides. The drama surrounding Luka Modric's future affected the club somewhat but with the player still at the club, the players can now concentrate fully on achieving their goals.
Redknapp Improved his side with the signing of Scott Parker before the transfer deadline to go along with the earlier arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor. It is most likely that Parker will start in central midfield after joining from West Ham, but Redknapp faces a tougher decision over whether to start with Adebayor, who has not played since the end of last season when he was on loan at Real Madrid from Manchester City.
Redknapp is short of options upfront with Peter Crouch having left for Stoke and Rafael van der Vaart sidelined with a hamstring injury that could keep him out for a few weeks. Ledley King and Sandro, who this week signed a new five-year deal at Spurs, are still out due to knee injuries.
