PREVIEW
England were done a huge favour by Wales when they beat Montenegro 2-1 last week and the Three Lions will try to repay that with a walloping at Wembley that will confirm qualification into Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
When these two teams last met in qualification, England ran out 2-0 winners at the Millennium Stadium. Darren Bent and Frank Lampard did the job that night but the Aston Villa striker is out for this match through injury. Luckily for England, Wayne Rooney is in top form, adding to his club goals with a nice brace to help beat Bulgaria on Friday 3-0.
Wales have an awful record against England, having last beaten us back in 1984! Gary Speeds boys did well to get their first points in qualification but they really have no chance of a win here. A draw would be a huge upset, but that too is very unlikely, and the prices on the England win reflect that.
Wales do have some quality on the pitch. Ramsey, who is the youngest ever captain of Wales and Gareth Bale could do damage but they do not have enough of support elsewhere to get to England. Craig Bellamy, who was excellent in that match last week, is out for this one through suspension and that is a huge blow for the Welsh. To make matters worse, David Vaughn is also suspended, which means the defence looks even more vulnerable. Wales have lost their last 4 matches away from home, and could not even muster a goal in 3 of those games.
England have enough talent to really put Wales to the sword. Theo Walcott has been doing well recently and along with Ashley Young should be able to really trouble the Welsh fullbacks. The prices are just too low for an England win, banker by the way, so have had to really look around to find some bets, which I shall keep small as they are just for fun.
BETTING VERDICT
I reckon there shall be a bunch of goals in this one, almost all from England. That shall be the main bet but I'm also adding some fun bets.
