The first round of games are behind us and for all the hype about Chelseas new young genius manager, they are in exactly the same position as totally rubbish Arsenal. 1 point, and not a goal to show for their efforts. Crisis?

Anyway, West Brom are the visitors, and they come in with a pretty poor record against the West London club. In 10 games against Chelsea in the capital, the Baggies have taken 0 points.

Last season West Brom allowed 9 goals in their games against Chelsea, and didn't fare too well against the rest of the Premier League, allowing 71 goals in total. West Brom just cannot keep a clean sheet, something it did only twice last season. So far, West Brom have played just once and did well, almost holding Manchester United to a draw, but an unfortunate own goal killed that chance off. There is a chance of Chelsea hitting a bunch here after being kept quiet by Stoke last week. Chelsea could send this game over all by themselves, such is the talent.

In the 10 matches played between these two sides, Chelsea have scored 29 goals, allowing just 3. Torres is being watched every match to see when he hits form and this might just be the day he opens his account for the season.

However, the defence have suffered a blow too as Chelsea are going to be without their first choice keeper, Petr Cech. It's made me consider a bet on both teams to score, but in the end I think the mismatch between sides means we should rely more on Chelseas offence and so, a bet on Over 3 goals looks best.
