Tevez's international colleague Sergio Aguero may start after his club-record £38million move from Atletico Madrid, but he could only be involved at best for one half of the match.

Club captain Garry Monk is a major doubt for this match in what will be Swansea's historic history of playing in the Premiership. He is struggling with a foot injury and may have to wait until the home clash with Wigan to make his first start of the campaign.Goalkeeper Michel Vorm comes straight into the squad after completing his move from FC Utrecht and will battle with signing Jose Moreira for the number 1 spot between the posts. The likes of Danny Graham, Leroy Lita, Wayne Routledge and Steven Caulker will be starting this match but Neil Taylor is suspended.
