Tottenham were involved in an absolute cracker of a match on Wednesday when they came back from 3-1 down to share the points with Arsenal. 3-3 it finished there, and I think I missed a trick not having a punt on a game where I knew both sides were going to attack. I'm going to focus on that area in this game.
Tottenham's work rate was excellent on Wednesday as they chased down everything and gave it their all. I think their commitment was boosted by the desire to not lose to their hated rivals but there is still the big problem of lying outside the Champions League places. Manchester City currently occupy 4th place in the tables and along with a 2 point difference, they have a better goal difference too.
Tottenham have to win here, and win well. The only way they can do that is to play the attacking free football they have done all season. While they are capable of scoring a bunch, even against strong teams, they are always in danger of letting in a couple too.
Van Der Vaart was excellent in that game against Arsenal, scoring the equaliser just over a minute after Walcott had put the Gunners 1-0 up. He also put away an excellent spot kick to equalise at 3-3 and he will be a big threat up front. Crouch, Defoe, Modric, Bale...there is too much talent here and Tottenham may well stick 3 past West Brom here just by themselves.
WEST BROMWICH ALBION
Roy Hodgson has gotten West Brom well and truly clear of the relegation zone, although their unbeaten streak under the former Fulham boss is not over. Last week, West Brom bravely took the lead before losing 3-1 to Chelsea and there was frankly no shame in that. They battled hard and that is all you can ask from a team. They are safe and will play in the top league next year, but I am sure they will have a go at a Spurs side they know will be weary after that crazy game just 3 days prior.
West Brom have not managed to keep a clean sheet all season. However, they will know that Tottenham failed to pick up all 3 points in their last match and will so be looking at this game as one where they can get the win which will ensure they don't fall further behind Manchester CIty. Whenever Tottenham pour forward, there will be chances to score, especially for the hard working Baggies. Stoke City grabbed 2 goals a week ago and almost got a draw against Tottenham, but the game sadly ended 3-2. There is a very good chance we could see a similar scoreline here.

I'm going to suggest bets on both teams scoring, as well as a punt on over 3.5 goals.
