Analysis:

While Aston Villa will be hoping to exact revenge after losing their initial clash 6-0 at St. James Park, Newcastle will be keen to do the double here at Villa Park.

Houlier believes ten points from their remaining games will be good enough to see their survival in the Premiership. Villa have only three wins from their last 10 games and last weekend were denied a win by a late Leighton Baines penalty.

However, Darren Bent's double for his new club last week took his goal tally up to five and will play a vital role in determining if they stay up or not.

Houlier has asked their fans to support them as they have managed only one win in seven games and also kept only one clean sheet in seven games.

But Newcastle will want to create history and complete a league double over their opponents for the first time since the 1997-1998 season. Absent will be Andy Carroll who scored a hat-trcik for them when they last met in August having moved to Liverpool now. A win for Alan Pardew side will confirm their place in the Premiership next season no doubt as it is congested now in the middle of the table.

As for the team news ahead of this match, Newcastle will be without captain Kevin Nolan who is suspended for this game after collecting his 10th booking against Wolves. Defender James Perch is also out with a three match ban while, midfield enforcer Cheik Tiote sits out the last game of a two-match ban.

Ryan Taylor is available after suspension and Jose Enrique looks set to come back after a hamstring injury. Meanwhile Hatem Ben Arfa will only return to the side with the clash against Liverpool on 1st May as he has been out since October.

However, Leon Best is out for the remainder of the season after he underwent an operation on his ankle for the second time this year. Dan Gosling and Alan Smith are out injured and on-loan Stephen Ireland is ineligible to start against his parent club here.

For the home side Villa, they have no new injuries and are boosted by the availability of Ciaran Clark after serving his two game suspension.
