Both these sides have been rather inconsistent since the start of the year and both will want to get all three points here.
For the home side, due to the injury to Tommaso Rocchi and the three-match ban Mauro Zarate coach Edy Reja has no choice but to revert to the 4-3-1-2 formation here. Mauri is likely to slide back into a three-man midfield line with Cristian Brocchi and Cristian Ledesma, as Matuzalem is also not playing any part due to his injury. Hernanes will play as the attacking midfielder behind the front two –Sergio Floccari and Giuseppe Sculli.
But for Sinisa Mihajlovic he will want to prove that his team Fiorentina plays better on the road and especially where their opponents are attacking and allows his team to play his type of football. Fiorentina still have to do without their long term injury player while Defender Manuel Pasqual picked up a booking against Lecce and will be unavailable for the trip to Rome. Gianluca Comotto will start in his absence. Valon Behrami who was a former Lazio player will be on the bench for the visitors.
For the home side, keep a close lookout for Hernanes who is slowly but surely catching the eyes of some of the big clubs in Europe.
