What an absolute stinker this season has been for Liverpool, who lie 12th in the table having lost last week at Anfield to Wolverhampton. What was worse was the disgusting behaviour of the "Anfield faithful", who mocked and jeered poor Hodgson throughout. If they think a change at this stage of the season will do them any good, they have another think coming.
Hodgson took a less talented Fulham squad to the UEFA cup finals, and is a very good manager. Liverpool are behaving like they're Manchester United, with the way they seem to demand the title from the manager. The truth is that Liverpool are not a top 4 side, and will not finish there this season.
The title? Liverpool have not won that in the Premier League's history, and in the previous format, well that was a long, long time ago. A reality check is needed. This is a top 6 side, at best. Hodgson is the man to eventually get them there and they should give him the required time to do so, which I believe will take the remainder of this season and some serious planning/buying in the summer. The sad truth is, he will be sacked eventually if this nonsense carries on.
So, team morale is 6 feet underground, and yet Liverpool are priced at 1.70!! This team has been beaten at home several times by teams that are much less talented than Bolton have been so far, and yet Bolton are priced as high as 6.00. It's ridiculous.
BOLTON WANDERERS
Many were saying that Arsenal were playing Chelsea at just the right time to break their hoodoo and the same applies here. Bolton have lost 10 of the last 11 meetings with Liverpool but this is the perfect spot to turn that around.
Bolton have been in the form of their lives, while Liverpool are a team best left alone when considering a bet, even in games they've won. 6.00 on Bolton is value and then some, and if you fancy the straight bet, this is clearly it!
Bolton are playing wonderful attacking football, and they perhaps suffered a blip last week when narrowly losing to Chelsea 1-0. It was by no means a bad result as they've been thumping teams left right and centre to leave themselves 6th place coming into this one. John Elmander is on 9 goals for the season and few would bet against him getting his 10th at Anfield.
As usual, Kevin Davies is another to look out for, as Bolton are very capable of not just winning, but thumping a very vulnerable looking Liverpool defence.
The odds are affected by the loss to Chelsea, and the losses before them, all 1-0, to Manchester City and Sunderland. I think Liverpool are far more shaky than those teams and will probably have to deal with the Bolton side that ran rampant over Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle.

Take Bolton to win this at the huge 6.00 on offer while the "meat and potatoes" bet in this one should be Bolton +0.75AH as I simply cannot see them losing, certainly not by 2!
