Despite having much more of the ball possession last weekend, Bayern Munich still lost 2-0 against Schalke 04 which made things even worse for van Gaal`s players in the Bundesliga.

St Pauli have finally ended their six match winless streak with a nice 1-0 win over the other newcomers Kaiserslautern in the last round.
This match against Bayern Munich will be a very tough task, as St. Pauli will miss several players. The defender Mark Thorandt has to serve a red card suspension and other defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem has a foot injury.
Worse than that is that there is the lack of discipline in the team, and the coach Holger Stanislawski suspended three players, Carlos Zambrano, Charles Takyi and Deniz Naki. All three players have missed and were late to couple of training sessions this last week so they will sit out this match. Fabio Morena, Ralph Gunesch and Carsten Rothenbach are their replacement in the back four line.
Marius Ebbers is the only striker in the formation, but lately Max Kruse often goes forward as well, so depending on the situation at the pitch he might play as second striker.
