2010-11-30 - West Ham United vs Manchester United
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Manchester United will aim to defend their title as they travel to Upton Park to take on West Ham United. West Ham enters this match after celebrating their win over Wigan last weekend in the Premiership and will want to put an end to Manchester United's run by reaching the last four.
The Red Devils are expected to make a complete change in lineup ahead of their trip to face West Ham here. The likes of Javier Hernandez, Federico Macheda and Chris Smalling are all set to be given a chance in the starting line-up with a number of first choice players being given a rest.
Wes Brown is set to captain an inexperienced United side with Darron Gibson starting in midfield. Tomasz Kuszczak and Ben Amos set to battle it out to start in goal as Edwin van Der Sar is given a rest.
Meanwhile the likes of Michael Owen, Antonio Valencia and Owen Hargreaves are all still unavailable through injury.
As for the home side West Ham, they will want to end a run of losing six games in a row to Manchester United and book their ticket to Wembley.
Lars Jacobsen is not able to feature as he is cup tied having played for Blackburn earlier in the competition, so former Red Devils defender Jonathan Spector could face his former club here.
It is likely that Avram Grant could decide to rest Scott Parker as he looks to keep him fresh for key upcoming Premier League. Mark Noble has been ruled out for the rest of the year with a hip problem and Kieron Dyer again misses out with a hamstring injury. The likes of Manuel Da Costa (ankle), Thomas Hitzlsperger (thigh) and Jack Collison (knee) all remain long-term absentees.
Meanwhile, Danny Gabbidon, Frederic Piquionne and Valon Behrami are rated doubtful after picking up knows during the weekend.
Take West Ham to create a shock and hold Manchester United during the full 90 minutes here.
Cheers and good luck,
