FCM Targu Mures (13th W-5 D-3 L-8)
Targu Mures pulled of a heroic performance last weekend against Steaua Bucuresti, resisting 90 minutes without conceding a goal despite having three men down at a given time but ended up losing the game in extra-time, when Bilasco’s header broke the dead lock.
After all those cards, FCM is having a hard time putting together a 18 men squad for this game. Bruno Fernandes, Topic and Vasilache received red cards and will be missing at least two games while Roman and Stere are also suspended after collecting their 4th yellow this season.
Suspensions are not the only problems for coach Ioan Ovidiu Sabau, he has a large number of important players who are injured. Dan Matei, Sfârlea, Miclăuş and Szilagyi are recovering after some long-term injuries while Florin Dan and Didi are doubtful. In these conditions, Sabau might need the services of some young players from the reserves team to complete the squad.
Targu Mures only won one away game this season and draw three but with so many unavailable players they will have a hard time improving that record.
