WASHINGTON STATE (1-7)

Washington State have just 1 win to show from their opening 7 games of the season, but have gone 4-9 ATS in their last 4 games. They are underdogs of 21 points here, and while I recommend taking them to get beaten by more than that, I'm thinking this is a game to be used for teaser bets.

Jeff Tuel, who is the QB for Washington, is their only real bright spot, and with big spreads there is always the danger of a backdoor cover once the favourite has opened up a massive gap. Thats part of the reason for the teaser selection, but if forced to make a selection on the ATS, I still say Arizona will cover, simply because they are off a blowout loss themselves and so will be looking to do the same.

ARIZONA STATE (3-4)

Arizona state have been in some tough matches, having had to visit Washington, Oregon State and California. Now, for the first time in more than a month, Arizona's Sun Devils head back home to play in their own backyard.

Arizona State have lost 4 of their last 5 matches to stand at 3-4 right now. The last loss was only last week, where they got torn apart 50-17 at California. But take a closer look at those losses. They played #9 Wisconsin and lost 20-19, just 1 point!! They've faced Oregon State on the road and lost 31-28, just one FG! And they have also played then #1 Oregon, losing 42-31. Not that shabby is it?

The Sun Devils will be glad to be back home, where they play 3 of their final 5 games. They've thrashed Northern Arizona and Portland when playing here, and having just been beaten by a large margin away, what better way to feel better than to thrash the daylights out of a 1-7 visiting team?

BETTING VERDICT

I think Arizona State will take this by more than 3 touchdowns. They might even be up by that much at HT. The best bet for me, is to tease this down to -14 and include in all teaser bets.
