A.S Roma will hope to banish away the ghost of 1986 when they surprisingly lost to Lecce 3-2 and threw away the Scudetto doesn't repeats itself once again.

And after Sunday’s dull draw with Parma, Claudio Ranieri's side are back into the spotlight. His decision to take off two strikers and two central midfielders only then to take off a central midfielder for a striker was heavily criticised by the Italian press.

Lecce will be hoping to take advantage of Roma's discontentment in their side and judging by their results they are quite capable of doing it. Gigi De Canio’s have climbed up to 10th in the table, managing two vital wins in their last three matches.

Other than the huge 4-0 defeats to both Juventus and Milan, Lecce have done relatively well against the teams around them. They lost just once in their other seven games.

However, it must be pointed out here that Lecce have yet to win away from home so far this season and need to start doing so if they are to strenghten a place in Serie A.
