Analysis:A.C Milan welcome new boys Lecce back to the big stage for the opening match and the home side will have reasons to do well as they are trying to lure Zlatan Ibrahimovic away from Barcelona.
Milan have limited their spending in the summer but have now been tempted to bring Ibrahimovic to Milan following the friendly match against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
Meanwhile Lecce returned to Serie A to be with the big boys but will not be able to field Ernesto Chevanton after being on loan to Sevilla. Daniele Corvia, last year’s top-scorer with 17 goals is also looking forward to combining with Chevanton, at least until after this game.

As for Lecce, Luigi De Canio is keeping his cards to his chest and not revealing his strategy just yet. Ruben Olivera is suspended so the Giallorossi may be starting with a 4-4-1-1 formation. Newly signed Ignacio Piatti could make his Serie A debut and he has the potential to be as good as Javier Pastore.
