A Sports Betting Pick by Stephen
Football : League Of Ireland : Premier Division
Sunday 25th July Kick Off 7pm
Galway United 8th ( Home Record W2 D5 L4 )
Dundalk 6th ( Away Record W4 D1 L5 )
Galway United (8th, 22 pts)
Galway United face Dundalk on Sunday evening and in badly need of a win. They have managed only 1 win in 11 games and come on the back of a 1-0 defeat against league leaders Shamrock Rovers last Sunday evening. However Galway played quite well in that game and were probably unlucky not to get a point out of the game and made it very hard for in form Rovers.
Galway sit third from bottom and only 4 points ahead of the relegation play off spot. They have failed to win in their last 6 home games, however 4 of them were draws and the other 2 defeats and were against the top 2 sides in the league Shamrock Rovers and St Patricks Athletic.
Galway have also managed a win away at Champions Bohemians by a 3-2 scoreline and that is the only time Bohemians have lost at home this season. Galway despite their league position have talent in their side with the likes of former Bohemians players Stephen O Donnell and Bobby Ryan they can certainly cause an upset on their day and will feel they are due a win.

Dundalk (6th, 31 pts)
Only a few weeks ago Dundalk were sitting on top of the table but have gone into total free fall in the last few weeks. They now sit in 6th position and 10 points behind leaders Rovers and indeed are now only 9 points better off than their opponents in this game. They have lost 5 of their last 6 league games and managed just the one win over Drogheda who are second from bottom in the league.
They have also conceded 16 goals in those games which will be a huge worry for boss Ian Foster. To make matters worse they were also hammered 8-0 in the Europa league on aggregate by Levski Sofia. The second leg of that games was on Thursday night and they now face a tricky away tie on Sunday evening to try and pick themselves up again.
