Manchester City will aim to keep Aston Villa from overtaking them to the 5th spot as the race to the fourth spot ended after they were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in their last match.

Roberto Mancini side will need at least a point to avoid being overtaken by Villa and will also be eager to finish on a high. Question remains if Mancini will remain as boss next season after having failed to achieve his target of a top four finish since replacing Mark Hughes.

As for the team news, Valon Behrami has been ruled out for West Ham for this match. The Switzerland international twisted his knee in the defeat at Fulham and joins Herita Ilunga (thigh), Zavon Hines (ankle) and Jack Collison (knee) on the injury list.

Collison faces nine months out after undergoing surgery to repair cartilage damage and will definitely not be ready for the start of next season.

Meanwhile for Manchester City, Gareth Barry will miss the game after suffering an ankle injury in the midweek defeat to Tottenham. Barry could be out for as long as 4 weeks which means his participation in the World Cup could be in danger.

Stephen Ireland (ankle) will also miss out for City.

Carlos Tevez returns to the club where he was once seen as a hero for keeping the side up back in 2007.
