2010-05-05 - Fulham vs Stoke City
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Both sides are battling for 10th spot as the take on each other in this clash tongiht. As it is now, four teams - Fulham, Stoke, Blackburn and Sunderland can all finish in 10th and claim a top-half finish at the end of the season.
The Cottagers knows that victory for them would make it a two-horse as they would move five points ahead of Stoke and Sunderland with one game left. However, should it be a draw or Stoke win, then it will all go down to the last day of the season.
Fulham will no doubt have one eye on the Europa League final later this month and manager Roy Hodgson could make changes ahead of this clash. One player who will not be involved is Bobby Zamora, as he continues to battle his Achilles injury.
That means Hodgson could field the likes of Nicky Shorey and Stefano Okaka, who are ineligible to play in Europe for this clash tonight.
Meanwhile for Stoke, captain Abdoulaye Faye remains an injury doubt for the game as he has a thigh strain. In between the posts, Asmir Begovic will continue to deputise in goal for Thomas Sorensen, who is recovering from a dislocated elbow.
Striker Dave Kitson was left out of the squad for Saturday's goalless draw with Everton after he reacted to being substituted in the 7-0 defeat at Stamfird Bridge. And he looks likely to stay out of the side.
Go for Stoke to get a draw here at least.
Cheers and good luck,
