Analysis:Match of the week no doubt as the top two in the Prem iership goes head to head with each other when Manchester United welcome Chelsea to the Theatre of Dreams!
Champions Manchester United are holding a one point advantage going in to this match with just five further games remaining after this clash to decide who will be Champions of the Premiership. Though Arsenal cannot be coun ted out from the title race, but they are three points behind Chelsea and will not have Captain Cesc Fabregas for the rest of the season.
Wayne Rooney will be out of this match despite only suffering a minor ligament damage when twisting his ankle awkwardly in the closing moments against Bayern Munich. He is expected to be out for at least two to three weeks which will keep him out for the clash with Chelsea as well as the return clash with Bayern Munich as well as few games after that.
Dimitar Berbatov will come into the side after he played well deputising for him in the 4-0 win over Bolton. He was on target twice then. He will have a good chance to prove his worth here to the Old Trafford faithfuls.
One thing is for sure is that Sir Alex Ferguson will demand a better performance from his side than what they showed agai nst Bayern Munich in the 2-1 defeat in midweek. And he could make changes to his side and bring on Ryan Giggs and Antonio Valencia in this clash.
Also Owen Hargreaves and John O'Shea are liekly to start from the bench after long-term absences with their respective knee and dead leg problems with Hargreaves the most likely to get the nod.
As for the visitors they will be delighted that their top striker Diddier Drogba will return for this clash after a knee problem. The Ivory Coast international did not feature against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge last time out but Chelsea still ma naged a 7-1 win.
Carlo Ancelotti does have some problems in defen ce with the absenced of Ashley Cole (ankle), Ricardo Carvalho (ankle), Jose Bosingwa (knee) and Branislav Ivanovic (knee) are all sidelined, along with midfielder Michael Essien (knee).
For the record when these two sides met earlier in the season, Chelsea won 1-0. Last season Manchester United won 3-0 at Old Trafford as they went on to lift the title.
