Analysis:A.C Milan have been given a lifeline by A.S Roma who had beaten Inter Milan last night in the top of the table clash, so the home side knows that if they are to win the Scudetto this season they have to beat Lazio and close the gap at the top once again.
After the slip up against Parma, they now face a tough task against a rejuvenated Lazio side who have managed back to back wins and have found their form. Lazio also boast the third best defence in the Serie A after Milan and Inter.
Coach Leonardo must however make do without two key players as the likes of Ronaldinho and Andrea Pirlo both must serve a one match ban. Upfront their cause has not been helped by the fact that Amantino Mancini has been added to the treatment table and will not recover in time either.
But one thing for certain is that Massimo Ambrosini is almost certain to return to the starting lineup in the three man midfield and will join Mathieu Flamini and Gennaro Gattuso. Clarence Seedorf,one of the few players who played well against Parma will start in his preferred position just behind the two strikers most likely to be Marco Borriello and Jan-Klaas Huntelaar.
Lazio comes into this matc h winning their last two consecutive games. Coach Edy Reja cawill have more options as Sergio Floccari and Giuseppe Biava is back to the side after regaining full fitness. But chances are that he will stick to the side that did so well against Siena in midweek with no players picking up any suspensions.
Reja has brought more confidence to the side since joining in February and they will give Milan a match here that is for sure. He will be hoping to leave San Siro with at least a point, but with A.C Milan going for the title and Inter losing, plus the fact that lost to Parma in their last game, I will have to go for Milan to get the win here.
