Analysis:Arsenal can go top for 24 hours and put more pressure on Chelsea and Manchester United when they welcome West Ham for this London derby clash.
As it is now, The Gunners are just two points below United and can become the Premier League leaders until United and Chelsea play their games on Sunday. Arsenal goes into this game winning their last five games but the win over Hull City did not come easy as they had to work hard for the 2-1 win.
But Arsenal have been solid at home this season and will be looking to heap more misery to the Hammers when they clash here today. The good news for Arsenal is that they will welcome back Captain Cesc Fabregas after missing out the last couple of matches with a hamstring problem.
Alex Song will also start after missing out with a two match suspension while Tomas Rosicky could return from a groin strain. But the problem for Wenger is in central defence as William Gallas is out with a calf injury.
The likes of Aaron Ramsey (broken leg), Robin van Persie (ankle), Kieran Gibbs (foot) and Johan Djourou (knee) are still absent.
As for West Ham, following consecutive victories over Birmingham and Hull they have slipped back towards the drop zone after losing three matches since beating Hull going down to Manchester United and Chelsea as well as being defeated at home by Bolton.
Zola is prepared for the worst here as he is looking for games against Wolves and Stoke at Upton Park for possible points. Zola is expected to make changes this weekend after the defeat to Chelsea.
Carlton Cole and Alessandro Diamanti is pushing for starts after Mido and Ilan failed to score in the 4-1 defeat to the Blues. West Ham captain Scott Parker is out with a leg injury while Mark Noble has recovered from an arm injury and could start in midfield.
West Han will miss the likes of Kieron Dyer, Danny Gabbidon (both muscle) and Julian Faubert (hamstring), while Zavon Hines and Luis Boa Morte are long-term absentees.
