Analysis:Both teams will be going into this match needing a win badly as Milan second from the top taken on Atalanta second from the bottom in the standings.
Milan have managed to close the gap to just four points after managing three consecutive wins in a row. They have to make sure they carry on winning this match before they face A.S Roma in what will be a huge match next weekend.
Milan have to be careful that they do not drop points as they have been known to be complacent when playing against teams in the lower half of the table, especially at home.
Milan is likely to miss the services of captain Massimo Ambrosini after he picked up the injury in Florence. David Beckham is likely to start this match as Mathieu Flamini must serve a one match ban as well.
Milan will recall Christian Abbiati in goal after he has returned from his lenghty injury. He did splendidly against Bari and Fiorentina and will start instead of Dida. There is doubt in the left back position however. Daniele Bonera has been said to b e tired due to too many matches since returning from injury. That means Marek Jankulovski could start in his place.
In attack we will not see any changes in the AC Milan line-up with Pato, Marco Borriello and Ronaldinho all likely to start.
As for the visitors, they may concentrate on the relegation game with Udinese next weekend as they may not harbour much of a chance getting even a draw here. The coach may decide to rest players who are one card away from suspension with that in mind.
