Analysis:Udinese faces a tough task here as they are up against Napoli who are chasing a spot in the Champions League. Gianni De Biasi who replaced Coach Pasquale Marino faces a tough task since the former coach took them to seventh last season.
De Biasi, who was sacked twice at Torino, certainly hasn’t done much better. The side has gone from 15th to 17th in the standings and are without a League win since he took charge of the team. At present they are just one point clear of the relegation zone and that is a shame since they have a lot of talent and quality in the side.
As they boast the likes of With Toto Di Natale, Alexis Sanchez and Gaetano D’Agostino they should be contesting for a place in Europe and not battling against relegation!
One key factor in the Udinese's struggles could be the absence of influential director and transfer market specialist Pietro Leonardi, who joined Parma last summer.
Napoli has done well with a new manager, unlike their opposition. Under Walter Mazzarri they are now in fourth spot and fighting for a Champions League spot. They are also just three points away from second spot but with the likes of Juventus and Palermo behind them they need to work hard to keep their place.
Amazingly Napoli remain unbeaten in Serie A since Mazzarri’s appointment in early October last year!
As for the team news, Udinese are missing Cristian Zapata and Sanchez due to suspension whilst defenders Maurizio Domizzi and Damiano Ferronetti are out injured. For Napoli, Napoli strikers Ezequiel Lavezzi and Erwin Hoffer are injured and Salvatore Aronica is suspended for this tie.
