Analysis:Genoa cannot maintain their consistency coming into this match and after managing three wins in a row since the start of the season they have failed to win two games consecutively.
But Genoa are strongest at home as they have been beaten just once out of 11 games at the Luigi Ferraris this season. But this will not be easy as Chievo though have not been afraid to go for it on their road trips this term, picking up wins at Bologna, Cagliari, Catania and Livorno.

As for the team news, Genoa have only one injury concern – Moroccan midfielder Houssine Kharja. Meanwhile, defender Domenico Criscito will miss a single match ban however. The visitors only leave defender Fabio Moro and midfielder Luca Rigoni back as the duo are out injured.
January signings Dario Dainelli and David Suazo will start for the home side Genoa while Robert Acquafresca will have to be on the bench. Chievo will resist fielding new defensive signing Tommaso Bianchi in this encounter.
