2009-12-29 - Bolton vs Hull
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Two teams at the bottom end of the table battle against each other in what will be a battle of survival. Bolton are in the bottom three despite being unbeaten in three matches while while Hull are now just above rock-bottom Portsmouth after going five games without a win.
Bolton comes into this match with an excellent record against Hull City having won five and drawn one of their last seven meetings between the two sides. Hull on the other hand have to rectify their poor away form if they want the three points having won just one of their last 23 on the road.
However, Bolton's home form is nothing to shout about as they won just two of their last 12 league games at home.
As for the team news, Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba is available again after being forced to sit out the 1-1 draw against Burnley as he has to serve his suspension. Gavin McCann will miss out again with an ankle injury and thus will not feature. Ivan Klasnic is expected to keep his place in attack after being replaced by Mark Davies in the Boxing Day draw at Turf Moor.
As for the visitors Hull, they have a number of fitness problems ahead of this clash to the Reebok. Defenders Paul McShane and Steven Mouyokolo are still out with hamstring injuries since the match against Manchester United. Playmaker Geovanni (knee) and striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (shoulder) will be given late fitness test to see if they can feature here.
Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana is available has been given permission by Nigeria to delay his departure for the African Nations Cup but Gabon striker Daniel Cousin has left for the tournament in Angola.
Take Bolton to win this match but by a slim margin.
Cheers and good luck,
