Analysis:Wigan knows they have it all to do as they will attempt to become the first side to beat Burnley at Turf Moor when they visit for this encounter.
Burnley also known as The Clarets have won their last 10 matches at home, an amazing run which stretches back to February 28th. The likes of Champions Manchester United, Everton, Sunderland and Birmingham were all on the receiving end of Burnley's good home form.
They do have problems at the back as they have conceded 19 goals and only Hull City have conceded more at 22 goals. The visitors Wigan have also struggled at the back as they have kept only two clean sheets from their last nine Premiership games.
Wigan have not done well on their last three trips on the road and lacks any form of consistency despite seeing off the likes of Chelsea and Aston Villa.
Even though we are likely to see goals here but past encounters suggest that it could end all square. In the last five games , three have ended as goalless, while six of the last eight have finished in draws.
As for the team news, Burnley will not make much changes from the side that was beaten by Blackburn in the 3-2 derby defeat. Fernando Guerrero is likely to come back into the side after recovering from a hamstring injury. However at best he will start from the bench as he is lacking match fitness.
Kevin McDonald (knee), Jay Rodriguez (ankle), Martin Paterson (knee) and Chris McCann (knee) all remain out of the side with injuries.
As for the visitors Wigan, goalkeeper Chris Kirkland and midfielder Paul Scharner are both doubtful for this clash. Kirkland dislocated a finger in the second half of Sunday's 1-1 draw against Manchester City and has yet to train the whole of the week.
Scharner sustained a hip injury that forced him off after 72 minutes against the Blues and has not had any training which suggests he will be out.
