A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Manchester City will be aiming to keep up their winning streak and maintain their 100% ecord when they welcome the visit of Arsenal to the City of Manchester Stadium.
Manchester City started their season in fine fashion winning all their three games as well as their Carling Cup with Crsytal Palace. If that wasn't enough they even beat Barcelona in a friendly at the Nou Camp before the start of the Premiership. They have yet to conceded a goal and the last time that happened was way back in 2007 when their run was stopped by today's opponents - Arsenal.
The spotlight will no doubt be upon Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure who will face their former club Arsenal here today. Adebayor has scored in all his previous three games and will look to extend that against his former team mates.
Arsenal who saw their 100% record come to and end when they were beaten by Arsenal at Old Trafford after an Abou Diaby own goal saw them narrowly defeated at Old Trafford despite scoring 10 goals in their opening two games.
Interestingly before tht defeat the last sie to beat Arsenal was Manchester City back in November 2008 at the City of Manchester Stadium.
Arsenal come into this game boasting wins over Everton and Portsmouth, as well as two solid performances against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League so they will be looking for maximum points here.
With regards to the team news, City will miss the services of former Manchester United striker in Carlos Tevez after he picked up an injury while playing for Argentina. Robinho who played in Brazil's 3-1 win over Argentina is also rated doubtful. But the good news is that Vincent Kompany who did not play in the arly part of the season is available once more.
The Gunners come into this match with a host of injuries as well. They are without Andrey Arshavin with a groin injury as well as defender Johan Djourou (knee), winger Samir Nasri (broken leg) and reserve goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (knee) are all out.
The positive news for Wenger is hat skipper Cesc Fabregas is likely to return after he recovered from a hamstring injury. Tomas Rosicky who played for Czech Republic is still lacking match ftness and may not be risked. Theo Walcott has resumed light training but this match has come too soon for him.
Take Manchester City on level ball not to lose this match.
