A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Aston Villa goes into this match with an uphill task of ending their seven game Premier League winless run against West Ham at Villa Park. They are now battling with Everton for the fifth spot and in their last match they had to fight tooth and nail to get a 3-3 draw with Everton.
West Ham still have a place in the Europa league to fight for but they have already lost the earlier meeting with Aston Villa at Upton Park so they will not want to suffer a double defeat this season.
West Ham lost their last game to Tottenham and now sit in seventh spot just a point above Fulham.
As for the team news, star striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is doubtful after a hamstring strain in last Sunday's 3-3 draw with the Toffees. Standing to replace him will be teenager Nathan Delfouneso if he fails to recover in time. England international Emile Heskey could start this match after a hamstring injury which means he could partner John Carew in attack.
Meanwhile the likes of defenders Wilfred Bouma (ankle) and Martin Laursen (knee) are out of action with injuries while Spaniard Carlos Cuellar is in a race against time to be fit for the visit of West Ham.
If Cuellar does not make it in time, then Nicky Shorey will continue at left-back with Luke Young on the opposite side, as Curtis Davies and Zat Knight make up the final four.
As for West Ham, midfielder Radoslav Kovac could make a return after missing their last two matches with a thigh injury. Midfielders Valon Behrami and Jack Collison are definitely out with njuries but Scott Parker hopes to overcome his groin injury ahead of this clash.
Wales defender James Collins hopes to keep his place after featuring in the loss against Tottenham.
Meanwhile Junior Stanislas is hoping to keep his starting place after scoring in his first appearance against Sunderland and impressing against Spurs. Germany Under 20 international Savio is also in with a chance to start this match. Jonathan Spector as well as Carlton Cole misses out here.
