Tottenham will want to take maximum points when they take on Hull City in this Monday Night Football meeting as the home side have not won since beating Middlesbrough 2-1 way back in December and now the Tigers have also been dragged into the relegation battle.

Hull did managed to get a goalless draw in their last League match with Chelsea, a result which led to the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari from the coaching position at The Blues. Phil Brown will now hope that his boys can achieve a similar performance against another London club, in the form of Tottenham and in doing so should they get the three points here tonight that will put them nine points of the bottom three.

But the home side must start this match without the services of Jimmy Bullard after the midfielder was ruled out with a serious knee injury which ended his season. They will also miss the services of striker Craig Fagan for a few games after he was forced to undergo surgery on his knee. Daniel Cousin will have to shoulder the goalscoring responsibilities here then and captain Ian Ashbee is also back after recovering from a calf injury.

Hull is sweating on the fitness of midfielder Ryan France as he is doubtful with a thigh injury. Kevin Kilbane returns to the starting lineup after being cup tied against Sheffield United in the FA Cup. In goal we will see Matt Duke starting once more instead of Boaz Myhill.

Fot Tottenham they will have a tough week ahead of them with the second leg of the UEFA Cup to come and the Carling Cup Final on Sunday. But it is vital they get a win here so Harry Redknapp will want them to fully concentrate one match at a time here first.

Tottenham are just two points above the relegation zone as it stands now and Redknapp will want them to be extra vigilant here as they have been guilty of conceding late goals away from home and this is something they must avoid tonight.

Their Captain Ledley King is expected to be rested due to a hamstring and knee injury. Alan Hutton and Jermain Defoe are also both out on knee injuries. But a number of players who did not play in the UEFA Cup due to being cup tied will get a chance to feature tonight.

The likes of Robbie Keane, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka are very likely to start this match. While the likes of Luka Modric, Jonathan Woodgate, Wilson Palacios and Aaron Lennon who did not see action in the UEFA Cup are also likely to come into the starting lineup.

Carlo Cudicini who was signed in January is likely to start ahead of Gomez here.
