A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Liverpool will travel to face Stoke in this match intending to keep their top spot and also keep their distance from Chelsea who has to face Manchester United on Super Sunday.
The last time Stoke played against Liverpool it was back in September and it ended in a goalless draw. Then Liverpool went on to draw with Fulham and West Ham in November and December which increased doubts on their title aspirations then.
Now Liverpool will want to set the score straight and get a win in this match and they could go six points clear since Chelsea will be battling with Manchester United on Super Sunday.
As for Stoke, despite occupying the final relagtion spot, they have showed in the past they know how to annoy Rafa Benitez's players. They have also managed to beat Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium this season.
Pulis have recently added former West Ham winger Matthew Etherington to join their squad in a bid to avoid the drop and his presence could be a big boost to the side here. Etherington joined on Thursday for an undisclosed fee and Pulis will be expected to make some changes after the FA Cup defeat by League One side Hartlepool last weekend.
With regards to the team, news, striker Richard Cresswell is available after suspension while Dave Kitson is expected to start as Ricardo Fuller is still suspended.
As for the Reds, they could be without midfielder Xabi Alonso after the Spaniard sustained a foot injury in the FA Cup victory at Preston, which means that Lucas Leiva will be likely to come in. Star striker Fernando Torres could be fielded after he played as a substitute and scored at Deepdale.
Philipp Degen and Alvaro Arbeloa remains out of this match with foot and hamstring injuries respectively.
Take Liverpool to win but not to clear the high handicap here.
Cheers and good luck,
