Analysis:Southampton currently second from the bottom of the Championships have all to do here as they welcome Premier League and European champions Manchester United to the St. Mary's Stadium.

The home side will be glad to at least welcome back defender Morgan Schneiderlin for this match. As for Manchester United, defneder Rio Ferdinand could miss this match after a recurrence of a back injury kept him out of the Red Devils' last Premier League game against Middlesbrough. Jonny Evans is likely to continue to partner Nemanja Vidic for this match.
Gary Neville could start and captain the side after replacing Rafael in the win over Middlesbrough. Also due to start is midfielder Paul Scholes who impressed after coming off the substitutes bench.
Carlos Tevez is still expected to be missing from this match as he was given permission to return to Argentina to deal with personal family matters.
Manchester United are unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions and Southampton looks unlikely to trouble them here.
