A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Chelsea will aim to return to the top of the Premiership when they travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers in this match after Liverpool managed a win in their match yesterday.
First Chelses will have to bounce back after suffering the humiliating defeat at the hands of A.S Roma in the Champions League in midweek. That defeat to Roma was actually a wake up call and now they must show true strength and character to come back after such a defeat.
Chelsea will be up against Blackburn, a side who have failed to win in their last five matches now. The good news for the Blues is that they will be u against the worst defence in the top flight and furthermore they also have a 100% record on their travels.
Blackburn looks set to miss the services of striker Roque Santa Cruz while Benni McCarthy is suspended for this match. Cruz is a major doubt after he picked up a calf injury and will undergo a late fitness test to determine if he can be fielded.
Brett Emerton has a hamstring injury and will be out for up to three weeks, while David Dunn is out until December with an achilles injury.
As for Chelsea, Brazilian Luiz Felipe Scolari will want to celebrate his 60th birthday with a win in this match. Didier Drogba is expected to lead the line instead of Nicholas Anelka who scored a hat-trick last Sunday.
John Obi Mikel and Florent Malouda are battling to keep their places in the side after a poor midweek performance. The likes of Michael Ballack , Ricardo Carvalho and Ashley Cole are still out of this match with injuries.
