Armenia Bielefeld and Borussia Monchengladbach are both in relegation trouble so the three points on offer today are vital for both clubs as the Bundesliga strugglers meet.
Arminia Bielefeld (16th 1-5-5 12:20)
Bielefeld are winless in their last five games, and will need to look to their home games to earn the points required to lift themselves up the table.
So after drawing 1-1 with bottom placed Cottbus here a fortnight ago, this match becomes a must win fixture for boss Michael Frontzeck and his side.
Bielefeld can usually rely on winning 7-8 of their home games each season, and desperately need on here.
Team News :
Bielefeld will have to do without four players as Rowen Fernandez, Andre Mijatovic (both knee), Robert Tesche (suspended) and Thilo Versick (foot) are out for the hosts.
Borussia Monchengladbach (17th 2-1-8 10:22)
Monchengladbach are a club in deep trouble and newly appointed coach Hans Meyer has dropped three players from the squad as Sascha Rosler, Sharbel Touma and Soumaila Coulibaly are all left out.
Meyer was quoted as saying "In our situation we cannot work with players who are unhappy ... I want to work with a very small group of highly-focused people."
But Monchengladbach have always suffered from away form problems, recording 0-7-10, 2-5-10 and 1-2-14 records in their last three seasons before relegation in 2006-07.
Now in their return to the top flight they've started poorly again winless in their first five away games with a 0-1-4 record, only avoiding defeat at lowly Bochum.
Team News :
There are also siginificant injury worries for the visitors with Sebastian Schachten (meniscus), Steve Gohouri (unfit), Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker (leg), Thomas Kleine (shoulder) and Sebastian Svard (groin) all unavailable.
Head to Head
Monchengladbach have dominated recent clashes winning 6 of the last 8 games between the two sides, including doing a double when they last met in season 2006-07.
THE VERDICT
While it's not a banker, I do think that it's a good value play as I'd expected the price to be around 1.80 to 1.90 given the very poor form of the visitors.
