While Sampdoria's clash with A.S Roma was called off due to rain, their opponents Torino finally managed a win in their match. Samdporia were unable to get much practice on the field after 5 mins their game was postponed due to rain. They were eager to carry on their good form against A.S Roma who are on a poor run after they had beaten Bologna 2-0.

Sampdoria will be ready for this tie after their first win and also being fresh since they didn't actually played in midweek. For Antonio Cassano he will want to prove a point here after in this match last season he was sent off for throwing his shirt at the referee and had to be dragged by his team mates.

But it must be remembered that Torino had not won here since 1993 with just 2 points from five visits and last season it ended in a 2-2 draw.
