Analysis:Tottenham as the defending Champions are in danger of being knocked out as they have yet to win a match in domestic competition this season. Newcastle on the other hand will be led by caretaker boss Chris Hughton on Wednesday night after the shock departure of Kevin Keegan.

Jonas Gutierrez (shoulder) and Jose Enrique are also missing but the thing is Newcastle does have a good record against Tottenham in Cup competitions.
As for Tottenham Juande Ramos will make changes and he will start by resting Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko for this match. Playmaker Luka Modric could be called upon even though he is not fully fit with a knee injury. Full-back Alan Hutton definitely misses out with a foot problem but fellow defenders Michael Dawson and Ledley King are likely to come back into the side.
Fraizer Campbell who is on loan to Spurs is set to start this match.
