Analysis:After securing his first win of the Serie A campaign now Jose Mourinho will aim to follow that up when his side travels to face Torino who will be no pushovers in this match.
In Inter's last match they had Catania to thank for as there were two own goals in that match but they paid the price after midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari was red carded after striking Giacomo Tedesco. He will be joining the likes of Walter Samuel, Dejan Stankovic, Nelson Rivas and Luis Jimenez who are all out injured for this match.
Ricardo Quaresma had a good debut in his last match and is expected to start alongside Luis Figo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while Esteban Cambiasso comes in for Muntari. Inter will adopt a more defenseive lineup which means that Javier Zanetti comes in for Mario Balotelli. Ivan Cordoba is back from injuries and will start in central defense.
As it stands now, Inter is behind Torino on goal difference in the standings. Torino scored a big win over Lecce in their opening match and that made all the difference. But they were unlucky not to get maximum points when a Marco Di Loreto own goal cancelling out Nicola Amoruso’s opening goal.
Their striker Rolando Bianchi has still to hit top from but Alessandro Rosina is the player to be wary of with his pace and skills.
These two sides do have good defensive records. Inter have done well in the summer friendslies but have conceded four goals which included the Super Cup. Torino meanwhile have been weaken in defense without the injured duo ofIgnazio Abate and Cesare Natali.
For the home side, Aimo Diana has an important role to play to stop Inter scoring as even though starting as a full back, he could be pushed into defending more than attacking when faced with Inter's strikeforce.
For the record, Torino has lost their last six games in a row to Inter Milan now. In that run they conceded 14 times and scored just once. Last season Julio Cruz scored in a tight 1-0 win here and they won the other tie 4-0 at the San Siro.
